Good Morning, Bad Day
Today when I woke up, I woke up in the most wierdest state of comfort. Not since middle school have I woke up so peaceful. You know before you wake up you feel a warm settle breeze then you open your eyes and the sun is directly staring right back at you. I'm thinking to myself, "damn, if only i had a girl yo. this would be the perfect time to have sex." (mml hey can you really blame me. i'm a guy. i wake up horny everyday with a hard on. it's my nature.) Anyway, i was caught in a mixed emotion, to stay in bed for a lil or get up and let the wheather linger. I did both, i that moment in for what it was worth cause i know somehow, someway, someone was going to fuck things up. Everyday people are unhappy, they can't stand the sight of another person happy. That's why i decided i make my own happiness. Only you can bring down your feelings. If someone pissed you off today, you let them. I'm so fucking tired of people in this day and age. All music sounds the same now, liking the same things for the same reason, sometimes dress the same. Nobody wants to be orginal. Yourself is orginal. Everybody has their own unique way, style and being. The people that are orginal don't stay it. They let other people relaize it with time. It shouldn't take a death to realize a person was the best at what they do. Bottom line, good morning, bad day. Let you be the one to decided.

Chasing The Lifestyle
Last night, i had a talk with a friend of mine, just catching up on some things from the past few days. I was talking about how I'm trying to save up money to do things i really need to do and want to do. It's gets hard to save because i have bills and living arrangements, but when it's not that i find myself buying stuff i really don't need right now. Last week, i got both checks from BCC and the pharmacy. I paid off my cell phone bill and was going to pay comcast but I wanted to wait til next week. After that, i go to Marshalls to see Daniel at work, and i buy a pink polo shirt and orange polo sneakers. I'm thinking to myself, i hate doing this. I don't like spending money on things i don't need to have. Not saying i don't like polo (mml), it seems like I'm chasing a lifestyle.
Chasing the lifestyle you want can be detrimental if you are not careful. It goes back to early 2000 and on. Everybody wanted spinning rims on their car because it look hot and it showed a cool style for cars. Wrong, that was the stupidest idea I've ever seen. If you're stopping at a stop light and you're rims spin, you can't see your rims spin. You would have to get out the car and look at them, like, "yea what's up man? i know these are hot right.? yea, aight i got to get back in my car. peace." Just stupid. Then most of the people i know would have new weaves, buy a brand new car with the rims, go on shopping sprees and go out to fancy restaurants WHILE they are living with their parents not paying rent, not paying child support, have two ore three kids that are not taking care of and didn't even graduate high school. I'm like, chasing a lifestyle is crazy if you don't know your limits.
We all fall victim to the chasing, whether it was the watch in middle school everybody had to the spinning rims. Don't chase a lifestyle for other people's enjoyment or standards. It wouldn't be a lifestyle, a lifestyle is something you obtain for your life's enjoyment and attributions. It's ok to chase it, but don't chase knowing you're going to step back to fix it. Strive for it in the right sense. Earn the lifestyle while taking the things you have already. Chase the lifestyle, don't let it chase you.

Artist Of The Month: Asher Roth
Asher Paul Roth is new upcoming rapper from Morrisville, Pennsylvania. He started rapping in high school with his peers and called themselves "the hip-hop workshop". After graduating high school, he went to West Chester University for Elementary Education major. After sending a friend request on myspace to Atlanta promoter and MP of marketing for So-So Def Records, Roth moved to Atlanta in 2007 and was signed to Universal Records. He released his first mixtape, "The Greenhouse Effect",collabrating with Ron Cannon and DJ Drama. On April 20, 2009 he released his debut album, "Asleep In The Bread Aisle" along with his single, "I Love College". The album has been getting mixed reviews but still is one of the most hyped debut rap albums of '09. With his impressive witty lyrics, hardcore flow and old school hip hop beats, Asher Roth is the new rap kid on the block.

I now present to you "Don't Let Failure Too Far Away":
Many times in life people experience some form of FAILURE and if you haven't experienced it you'd be considered PERFECT. LOL! Side Note: No ones PERFECT we just like to take the road that leads to some form of PERFECTION! Failure can come in many forms, expected or unexpected. For some, failure is hard to accept and no one likes the idea of failing. Then there are those who "REALLY DON'T CARE" attitude and easily accept it. I'm reaching out to those who don't like failure and the ones who don't care about failure. If and when failure comes into your L.I.F.E, don't let it be the END ALL! Keep a firm hold on it, learn what you did or what you didn't do that led to it, make the difference, be the difference because folks there is opportunity for CHANGE. You stay close to what ever the failure was and with time, confidence, faith, and perseverance turn that failure right side up for the better. Let failure be a continuation of the story, not the end of one. Let "FAILURE TO SUCCESS" be the end result. I know deep down no one likes to fail, so I'm CHALLENGING you to take on the CHALLENGE of taking one of your "FAILURES TO SUCCESS"! Is the truth really the truth? Or is the truth a lie? Truth is the events that come to light and come to life. They are very much so a good chance of them happening. The reality is it could happen but reality is it isn't going to(this is were "lie" has some play at). No matter how positive the truth can be there's no way it could come to light because there is really no way for it to take place when at anytime it could just crush itself. One of those things you'd have to accept and face the results.

For the longest time, I've been really thinking about this subject. I've talk to some friends of mine and thought about my life mostly. This subject is something that has been in public eye for the longest, and talk about daily. Honesty and being real. Both words are different from one another but have the same meaning. The definition of honest is honorable in principles, intentions and actions. Real definition is true; not merely ostensible, nominal, or apparent.
It has always been intentions throughout my life to honest with people and with myself. I found honesty is the best quality to have but sometimes conflicted. Certain situations with people seem to have to bend the truth. Classic example, "Honey, does this make look fat?" To be honest, "yes it does". To not hurt the woman's feelings, "no baby, you look great." With honesty, there's a respect factor. The truth can hurt people feelings sometimes; honesty starts playing with your personality. Honesty can sometimes mean to deviate the truth. How to say something without hurting people's feelings, how to re-word statements but also get the point across.
Real, has been the most conflicting topic of people's lives. "How to be real with yourself and others" a title that stays unanswered to some. A person who is real with themselves does not care about what about other people think. It is their own personal drive that they feed off. No other person can take it or change it. A real person can walk to a stranger and say, "i don't like you, you look like Jim Carrey on crack." Harsh and cruel (funny too), it was honest and straightforward. Sometimes people can be too real where they don't really care. The respect factor can tainted in all sorts of ways. "When keeping it real goes wrong" (funny chappelle's skit). But honesty plays into being real. A person couldn't be real if they weren't honest with themselves.
In conclusion, draw your own conclusion. Seriously, I have thought about this too long and hard. Sometimes I ask myself am I being totally real with other people. The respect factor plays again into my mind. Don't forgot there's also people who are "fake" or "acting like they are real". That's a whole another subject in itself. But besides that, the point of this is ask for honest/real opinions. As being one third of this blog, this is still ADD blog. We add things we like on here and the public can add comments/insights. I want your honest/real opinions about this. A subject like this can be deep or can be solid viewed. My own person conclusion is it's better to be real most the time but honest for people. You have to be real with yourself before you can be real with others. Be real with yourself then SHOW real by honesty. It all depends on what type of real you are and what honesty you show.

Happy Birthday Marvin Gaye (April 2, 1939- April 1,1984)
Today is Marvin Gaye birthday, I though I could celebrate his birthday with some performances of his best known songs. Though I was born before he died, growning up listen to his music has enough impact on me to love soul music. Truth be told, I think a lot of people before and after me weren't made possible if it wasn't for this man's music. For that, I pay my respects to Mr. Marvin Gaye, his family and his legagy. Restaurant Spotlight: Redstone American Grill
This has to be one of the best restaurants and the environment surroundings create a great atmosphere. I will definitely be going back there sooner than you expect.
